Mutya ng Guimaras was officially launched last March 31
with the presentation of the candidates at SM City Iloilo Event Center.
This year, there are nine beautiful ladies proudly representing the five municipalities of the province who will be vying for the most-coveted
crown.

During the Press Presentation, the candidates gamely and bravely answered the questions thrown at them
by the media and bloggers. They were an
epitome of beauty and poise as they shared with the audience the attractions
that their respective municipalities have to offer as well as their plans of
promoting their beautiful province.
The Press Presentation was just a taste of
grander things to come as more exciting events are lined up leading to the
Grand Coronation Night. Here are the pre-pageant activities to look forward to:

Of course, the most-anticipated culmination is the Grand Coronation Night, which will be on May 20 at the Provincial
Capitol Gym.

Mutya ng Guimaras 2016 is one of the highlights of this year's Manggahan Festival. It is organized by the provincial
government of Guimaras with Travel and Marketing Experts Corp. and co-presented
by 2GO Travel and Supercat with media partner, The Daily Guardian. It is also
supported by MGE Wellness and Spa, Cherry Mobile, Pitstop, Yakult, Henry’s MJCJ
Wines and Liquor, Cafe Panay by PTSI, La Pachira Ocean View Resort, SM City
Iloilo, Mozaic Creative Studio and Ian Van Cubing.
