The Volkswagen Kafer Club of Iloilo Inc. joined the Molo Mansion 1st Car and RC Helicopter show last June 29-30, 2018.
The members of the club showcased their VWs which ranged
from stock beetles, baja bug, notchback and buggy.
The group, led by club president Nelson Hipe, said that they
are glad to be part of the first car show in the Molo Mansion. Other car owners also showcased their customized vehicles.
The car show complemented the grand facade of the mansion and created a picture-perfect
sight.
The show was an added treat to the visitors of the heritage destination, which houses Kultura, where travelers can purchase souvenirs. They also enjoyed local delicacies at the Molo Mansion Café and Sabor Ilonggo as they relax after their tour of the property.
Inside the mansion was a showcase of remote control
helicopter collection of Mr. Judgee Lopez Peña. This was the
second leg after its grand opening and display in SM City Iloilo a week
before. Mr. Peña said that he is honored and more than willing to display his
other remote control collections of airplanes and cars in the mansion.
Tanduay Rum, which provided free cocktail drinks for
everybody during the show, Natures Spring, and Pepsi supported the event. (PR)
