Savor the Ilonggo Table at Ang Kamalig

Ang Kamalig relaunches after undergoing renovation, and introduces the Ilonggo Table, the newest offering on their menu. This move is made in preparation for the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions/Conferences, and Exhibitions) activities of the city.

Truly Ilonggo
Leading to their 5th year, Ang Kamalig went back to its roots, the culture and the history of the Ilonggo people. Ask any Ilonggo about their childhood memories and food will always be in their stories. This is the inspiration of Chef Miguel Treñas and his team as they come up with the Ilonggo Table group meals.

Paborito ni Toto

Set One is the Paborito ni Toto with the famous comfort food, the KBL soup mixed with other dishes like the Ubud Salad, Steamed Oysters, Inasal na Manok, Rellenong Talong.

Luto ni Inday

Luto ni Inday comes with the Binakol na Manok, Linusgusan nga Pasayan and the Grilled Pork Belly (Liempo), plus Ubud Salad and Steamed Oysters.  Both sets are served with slices of their new dessert Biscocho Cake.

Ilonggos love merienda, so Ang Kamalig offers Merienda ni Nene, a combination of their famous Pancit Molo paired with biscocho, empanada and hot tsokolate.

(Clockwise) Calamare, Chicken Inasal Lumpia, Toasted Bihon and Ube Bibingka

Ang Kamalig 2.0
The store in Atria undergoes a facelift readying itself for the MICE visits and the millennials who now abound all over the city.  Iloilo City has recently declared itself as MICE ready at a grand launching ceremony at the Iloilo Convention Center.

Expecting an influx of tourists who want to taste Ilonggo cuisine, Ang Kamalig also levels up, ready to impress these people with Iloilo’s famous food and warm hospitality.
