The Medical City Iloilo extends quality care thru Out-of-Hospital Care Program

ILOILO City – In response to the call of the Iloilo City Government to address the lack of COVID-19 beds in the hospitals, The Medical City Iloilo recently launched the Out-of-Hospital Care (OH-C) Program.

Through OH-C Program, TMC Iloilo Iloilo extends the same quality care that it is offering in the hospital to a non-hospital setting by partnering with a local hotel.

TMC Iloilo’s OH-C Program can be availed by suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patients with mild symptoms. Instead of being managed in the hospital, these patients will be admitted in the partner hotel of TMC Iloilo and will be given the same medical attention as there will be 24/7 nurse and doctor on-board to closely monitor and immediately attend to their health concerns.

“The OH-C Program is our strategic response to the current situation that we are facing in our city. Through this program, we will be also decongesting our hospital rooms to give way to COVID-19 patients who need immediate critical care in the hospital,” TMC Iloilo Chief Executive Officer Dr. Felix Ray Villa noted.

Aside from hotel accommodation, patients enrolled to TMC Iloilo Out-of-Hospital Care (OH-C) Program will be provided with an OH-C Patient Kit with daily wellness activity guide and other necessary items that patients need in monitoring their vital signs.

Aside from hotel accommodation inclusive of breakfast, lunch and dinner and daily monitoring by doctors and nurses, TMC Iloilo OH-C Program also includes diagnostic services and OH-C Patient Kit with daily wellness activity guide and other necessary items that patients need in monitoring their vital signs.
