VISIT ILOILO campaign launched

The City of Love, Iloilo, just keeps on giving its people and guests more reason to visit as the city rallies all tourism-related stakeholders to further strengthen community partnerships. This includes the city’s thrust to increase its capacity to attract inbound local and foreign travelers during the commitment launch of the Visit Iloilo Campaign held at the Iloilo Convention Center located at the Iloilo Business Park in Mandurriao.

With the Iloilo Festival Foundation Inc. (IFFI) at the helm, Allan Tan, President of the organization shares “Visit Iloilo is our attempt to further promote Iloilo into becoming one of the premier tourist destinations here in our country. He adds “it is an invitation for everyone to immerse themselves in our Ilonggo history, heritage, and hospitality.”

Adding to the success of this campaign is the overwhelming support of the Provincial and City Government, the Department of Tourism of Region 6, Tourism Promotions Board, Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Iloilo, and the Iloilo M.I.C.E Alliance.

The Philippines’ gateway to many more destinations in Western Visayas is tapping into all partners from air, land, sea transportation, accommodations, recreation, shopping, destination, and other establishments for an alliance that ties up a well-rounded experience for a variety of guests in search of their next adventure.

From its straightforward title, Visit Iloilo gestures the ultimate response for would-be guests to act. This unified effort serves as the industry’s local arm that will elevate all that is good about the city as it cascades it across channels, platforms, and discussions where buyers are also present. Along with this is to create a consistent digital awareness campaign redirecting searches across the web to a conversion site where suppliers are all present and waiting.

To add, the campaign aims to facilitate multi-sectoral synergy and collaboration, intentionally provide materials that will be published and released nationally and globally, and create new tour packages all in the hopes of improving Iloilo’s tourist receipts, increasing economic gains and opportunity for all.

President Tan, ends “let us elevate Visit Iloilo into more than just a campaign, but a legacy that enriches our lives and leaves an indelible mark for generations to come. Together, let us invite everyone to Visit Iloilo, Experience Iloilo, and of course Love Iloilo!
