ILOILO CITY - For every woman, health is a journey that evolves with time, from the vibrant energy of youth to the wisdom of the later years. In celebration of Women’s Month, The Medical City (TMC) Iloilo elevates this journey with “Babayinihan,” a premiere health conference and empowerment dedicated to holistic wellness of every Ilonggas.
Set to be the first and grandest women’s health conference in Iloilo, Babayinhan 2026 will be on March 7, 2026, Saturday, at Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo.
The conference features a diverse panel of women representing the different stages of womanhood from adolescence and motherhood to career-building and the grace of aging. It will bring together clinical experts and representatives from LGU sectors and business sectors.
Highlighting this prestigious event is acclaimed actress and inspiring woman Ms. Kaye Abad, now based in Cebu. Having experienced firsthand the demands of balancing career, family, and personal well-being, she deeply understands the everyday challenges women face in growing urban communities like Iloilo City. She will share her personal journey on health, life balance, and motherhood—offering real, relatable insights that empower women to take charge of their well-being, pursue their goals, and thrive in every role they embrace.
“Empowerment begins with health. When a woman is healthy, she can lead, nurture, and thrive,” says Dr. Razel Colacion, Chair of TMC Iloilo Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, “Through Babayinihan, we are creating a space where medical expertise meets real-life stories. We want every Ilongga to feel that she is not alone in her health journey and that TMC Iloilo is her partner every step of the way.”
The Babayinihan campaign also highlights TMC Iloilo’s specialized Women’s Health Center services, ranging from advanced screenings and maternity care to menopause management and specialized surgeries. By combining clinical excellence with community-driven events, TMC Iloilo reinforces its position as the premier healthcare partner for women in Western Visayas.
As the region celebrates Women’s Month, Babayinihan stands as a celebration to the strength, resilience, and heart of the Illongga. It is more than just a campaign; it is a movement toward a future where every woman is empowered to live her healthiest, best life.
