Iloilo’s enterprises are built on grit, trust, and relationships that have endured across seasons. But the operating environment is shifting. Customers have sharper expectations. Teams are more diverse and more difficult to align. Reputational risks travel faster than ever. In this climate, leadership can no longer rely on instinct alone. It must be upgraded—through stronger people capability, engineered customer experience, and governance that protects enterprise value for the long term.
This is the spirit behind the 2026 Seminar Series, a two-day executive learning and enterprise dialogue organized by the Iloilo Business Club, Inc. in partnership with Cornelius Magnate Engagement & Consulting and RD Soft Skills Management Consultancy Service. The program convenes business owners, executives, and decision-makers to focus on the capabilities that will define the next chapter of Ilonggo competitiveness.
Strategic Soft Skills for
Organizational and Personal Success
The series opens with Strategic Soft Skills
Enhancement for Organizational and Personal Success, led by Rowena
Diaz—Global Training Specialist at Ad Nano Company Limited (Bangkok,
Thailand) and Managing Director of RD Soft Skills Management Consultancy
Service.
Many strategies fail not because they are weak, but because
execution breaks at the human level: unclear communication, misalignment across
teams, leadership blind spots, and friction that slows decisions. Day 1 tackles
the core soft skills that have become hard requirements for executives today:
strategic communication, influence, leadership presence, and the ability to
align people and performance under pressure. With extensive regional
experience, Diaz brings a global lens on what high-performing leaders do
differently—and how those behaviors translate into organizational results.
Customer Experience and Enterprise
Continuity
Day 2 moves into two issues that directly shape
competitiveness and longevity.
The first session, Building a Holistic Ilonggo
Experience Mindset, is led by Ken Lerona, Principal Consultant,
Founder & President of Cornelius Magnate Engagement &
Consulting, and a marketing, innovation, and strategy leader with over 20
years of experience across industries. This session challenges organizations to
stop treating customer experience as surface-level “service gestures” and start
designing it as a system—built into leadership routines, people strategy,
service standards, and operational discipline. Expect practitioner insights
from homegrown brands on what it takes to keep service quality consistent,
quiet, and efficient on the ground.
The afternoon session, Safeguarding Enterprise
Values Across Generations, brings the conversation to the continuity risks
that silently erode Ilonggo enterprises: weak succession readiness, unprotected
intellectual property, and reputational vulnerabilities. Joining the discussion
is Atty. Ed T. Reyes III, Founding Partner of E.T. Reyes
III & Associates, together with members of his legal team. This segment
translates legal architecture into business protection—guardrails that help
enterprises endure, not just operate.
