SM continues to expand its
footwear legacy by reaching out to communities with the Simply Shoes outlets. Simply Shoes, an affiliate of SM Retail, opened
its 13th branch yesterday at CityMall Kalibo.
This one-stop shoe store offers
a wide assortment of shoes selections for women, men and children, all at very
affordable prices, which is why it consistently attracts a huge number of shoppers
wherever they open.
“The concept of Simply Shoes is to bring the house
brands of SM to the community. We have a lot of stores to open this year in
order to make our merchandise more accessible to people. Wherever CityMall
opens, we will be there, too,” said Business Unit Head Eugene Saw.
Simply Shoes carries an assortment of brands, both for everyday and
special occasions including SM’s iconic Parisian brand, which offers trendy yet
affordable footwear for the ladies. It also carries Milanos’ trendy designs for
men as well as sporty World Balance, Easy Soft, Duralite, Islander, Beachwalk, Toeberries, Sprint and Kicks
for the active and casual lifestyle.
For children’s footwear, the
store offers durable and stylish brands that include Sugar Kids, Tough Kids,
Sofia the First, Barbie, Batman, Frozen, Justice League, Planet, Spiderman and
Fisher Price.
Shoppers can also find a wide variety
of bags for children and adults, including well-known brands such as Hawk, Heartstrings,
Transgear, Grab Bags, Summit backpack and Salvatore Mann.
“This year, CityMall will be opening more branches
in Iloilo and Negros, and Simply Shoes will be there as well. However, we are
not only restricted to CityMall and other SM malls. Where there will be
community malls around the country, we also plan to have a store there. Anytime
this year, we will be opening a branch at the Festival Mall in Alabang. We are
also going as far as the north by having a Simply Shoes branch at La Trinidad,
Benguet,” added Saw.
Simply Shoes is targeting a total of 100 stores
within the year.
