MG Philippines has announced the arrival of the first model
to headline the brand's aggressive 2022 product launch calendar—the exciting
and dynamic MG HS SUV. The MG HS is the latest global MG model to join MG
Philippine's growing stable of vehicles, offering discerning motorists a
modern, feature-laden, safe, and value-rich SUV, steeped in MG's rich British
heritage that spans nearly century.
The arrival of the MG HS SUV is yet another nod to MG Philippines' aim to provide topnotch, high quality, attainable mobility solutions for every Filipino, as the brand continues to grow in the local Filipino car market and among the general public.

The HS is powered by a 1.5 inline-4 DOHC turbocharged petrol engine, that is mated to a smooth-shifting 7-speed Twin-Clutch Sportronic Transmission and produces I 69PS and 250NM of torque. It is also equipped with modern driver aids such as a Blind Spot Detection System, Tire Pressure Monitoring System, EPS 3-mode Adjustable Steering, push start-stop functionality, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and a proprietary "Sport Mode" that allows for crisper steering and throttle response, just to name a few.
Outside, the new 2022 HS is a stunner: swooping body lines
and an athletic stance give the HS a sporty profile, while MG's signature
Stardust Grille complete the vehicle's athletic, yet distinguished,
countenance. Up front the HS illuminates paths with its 9-Crystal Lighting
units and powerful LED headlights, with sequential turn light functionality
(also featured on the vehicle's taillights.) The HS also rolls in style, riding
I 8-inch Diamond Cut alloy wheels, which are standard across the model range.

Inside, the new MG HS SUV is simply delightful. MG Sport Bucket seats with 6-way power control comfortably hug the body in all the right places. The HS's dashboard is ergonomically designed for easy access, and is highlighted by the vehicle's 12.3-inch Virtual Driver Information Center and large 10.1 -inch touchscreen infotainment system which is equipped with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and multimedia functionality.
The HS also features a large panoramic Stargazer Sunroof that
offers clear views up above and is perfect for airing out the cabin with fresh
air. The HS is also equipped with a unique, adjustable ambient lighting system
that allows users to change the cabin's interior lighting color to suit your
mood.
